Addendum

In the tournament below, which was one of the 10 FPP Multi-Table Tournaments for the Moneymaker Millionaire promotion, I ended up finishing a disappointing 81st. Now 81st isn't too bad when you consider the field was 5087 to begin with, but I've made it pretty deep in a few of these things but haven't been able to finish. Only the Top 50 get an entry into Round 2.

The final hand I played saw me with pocket fives and a very short stack. One limper behind me and with the blinds at 2000/4000 I pushed all-in for my last $12K. The blinds fold but the limper calls and shows KJ and the king hit the flop.

One hand can make a tournament

This one galvanized my play and sent me on a good run that sent me way up the chip count ladder. As I post this there are 125 players left with the Top 50 advancing.

Beware of Poker Stars Donkeys

It is unbelievable sometimes how the freakin' donkeys on Poker Stars will chase and chase and chase. I don't know how I could have played this hand any better and I still got sucked out on. I guess that's just poker. If you have any insights on what I could have done better please feel free to share them.
