I Love Poker In Penticton

I don't know if my game has improved drastically, or if it's just soft here, but I love poker at Lake City Casinos in Penticton (other than the fact they don't spread any games on Monday. What the fuck is up with that?). I had a great night last night and cashed out about $1100. Would have been closer to $1600 but I got rivered for two pair by an 89 off suit vs my A9 suited on the very last hand of the night.

I played great big stack poker and I felt I was seeing the table extraordinarily well. I made a couple of three level deep thinking plays which I was very proud of myself for doing, shows my game is expanding along with my understanding.

A particular example had me with two bullshit cards but I was in first position and had the ability to make the play I did based on my read of the other players. I put the lady in middle position on two pair and the guy in last position on one pair. I check all the way to the river and call the lady's average bet on the flop and big bet on the turn and then the flush card hits the river and I bet out a pot-sized bet. I know she can't call her two pair because she's afraid of A) what I might have and B) that the last position player might come over the top. It was a perfect play. She mucked her two pair and he threw away his one pair and I raked the pot holding nothing.
