Session #86 - It Took A Lot To Get There

But I actually had a small winning session. It started off rough. I had three open-ended flush draws that didn't pan out and those always cost money. The first $100 pumped off quick enough and I had to ask Big Dawg if I could go $100 over my sheet as my real life job doesn't finish until this weekend (I'm self-employed) and that's when the real money comes in. He's agreeable as usual since I've never let him down yet.

The only hand to talk about was right after where Roofer busted my A-8 suited on the button with K-4 in mid-position. I flopped top-pair with top-kicker and he flopped bottom pair but got lucky enough to hit his king on the turn. So this next hand he starts juicing me for getting lucky when I finally hit my open-ender so I cock an eyebrow at him and quiz him on luck regarding the previous hand.
