Session #53 - SNG Mania

So I had a marathon session of sit-n-go's on Poker Stars today. Four in total. The first one was a $15 + $1 NL SNG which I ended up winning for a first place prize of $67.50.

At the same time I was playing a $16 + $1 double shootout to Sunday WSOP qualifier which I finished 16th after going all-in KK vs JT to get sucked out by two pair. I also lost a $10 + $1 NL double shootout qualifier to the Sunday $1 million guaranteed. Had a real lousy run of cards on that one.

The final one I played was a $10 + $1 2-Table NL SNG which got off to a great start with an early hand with me holding AJ over KJ which I slow played for value after a flop of 4-J-4, giving me an early chip lead. I ended up going heads up against a very rude player who I let beat me a few times to give him a sense of domination and then spanked him nicely. I nearly overtook him for chip lead when I held A8 and the flop comes down 4-8-4 and he slow played his A-4 and let me spike an 8 on the turn. I finally lost to him when he put me all in with 2-5 spades vs my pocket jacks after a 9-8-2 flop and he went runner runner 67 to hit bottom straight. I took 2nd for $54.

Final tally was four tournies totalling $55 of entry with two money finishes totalling $121.50 for a profit of $66.50.
