Xorply?
I get enough people that ask me where or what Xorply is that I'll explain it here.
I received my first email address way back in 1991 before most people were even aware the Internet existed and before the World Wide Web came into play. The Internet was all about newsgroups, bbs (bulletin board service) and email. My real name is far too common to be used as a User ID as there was usually always someone that had taken it and you didn't want to be User5487 or some stupid thing like that. So I came up with a name off the top of my head that was just a random connection of consonants and vowels that could flow together as a word and would be unique enough as to never be duplicated. Hence "Xorply" (which I pronounce zorplee).
So I universally use that as my Internet nickname. It is my screenname on every poker site I play at, my screenname at Internet Infidels (one of the oldest message boards on the web), where I am a long-time contributor, as well as my yahoo and msn names. And of course, I own the domain name of this website and my email address off it.
'Nuff said.
